I live in California. Ilona is both so good at cutting my curly hair and such an uplifting, down to earth person to be around that I make a point of hunting her down when I'm working in Toronto. I have taken a 30 minute uber to have an appointment with her and it was worth every penny. Oh yeah btw- I'm an actress and my mother was an excellent hair dresser: I know what I'm talking about!

Ilona is a highly talented hairdresser with years and years of experience that shows each time I get my hair done. I followed her when she moved locations because when you find someone like Ilona, you stick with her! On top of getting an excellent cut, I come for her lovely company.

Ilona has been my go-to hairstylist for many many years. She is not just skilled at her craft but constantly improving on her craft, as well as just being a very loving and wonderful person to enjoy that time with. Us ladies know what it's like to go to the salon and just be pampered and Ilona is very Adept at that. I recommend her to all of my friends.

I started my hair transition journey in Jan 2019 after baby #2 - with no extra time to continue my long process of weekly blow drying and flat ironing not to mention the heat damage - I did a “biggish” chop in March, went bleach blonde in June and still wasn’t loving the way my curls looked. So in January 2020 before heading back to work from my maternity leave and after months of extensive research and not being impressed by anyone or anything I could find in the GTA, a friend recommended IIona. Personal Recommendations are the best and this one came from multiple people with super curly hair - both of whom were very happy with their results. I decided to give it a shot and am very pleased with the entire experience including the final results. The appointment was short - about an hour. We went over my hair history, what I was looking for and my current process. I left extremely happy and will certainly be going back. Take it from a serious product junkie and one who has gone to many many hairdressers in The GTA from the $20 hair cut to the $200+ Yorkville edition - IIona has been my best experience for my curls.
